Postcards from Ireland art exhibition launched last night in Tetris, Prishtina. Irish artists were asked to send a piece to the unofficial embassy describing Ireland to Kosovo in one image.

So you went to an art gallery at the “Day and Night”? Look fellas… really cool having fun and what-not in Kosova but honestly… do you even know anything about the fucking place? As a random Albanian-American, vice-reading fuckhead, i’ll offer the advice of…. do a little homework. After reading your article, one can absolutely gather that you don’t know or give a fuck about the place. So my question is.. what are you doing? Having fun? Making a big joke? Trust me, we don’t need it. If you are trying to do any good, then my best regards and support. I hope to get proven wrong. Last time I visited, I still couldn’t speak my own fucking language freely.

both Conor and Steve did a wonderful job with the Unofficial Embassy project. It was unpretentious and fun. We brainwashed them in ‘Kosovar’ style (obviously didn’t do the best job) but I’m sure they don’t like the outcome of the article either. I think that the article is written in the spirit of VICE –style – writing … meaning ‘taking a piss out of everything’ …. I would suggest ‘qe mos me marr qaq afer zemres at shkrim’.
